JGStudios PH is a boutique software studio in BGC, Taguig. It was founded in 2026 by James Gamboa, a Filipino-American US military veteran and QA automation engineer who still leads every project himself.
From military service
to software.
James served 12 years in the US military before moving into software. That time shaped how he works: plan the mission, brief everyone clearly, and don't call it done until it's been checked.
He spent more than three years as a QA automation engineer, including on ServiceNow, writing the tests that catch problems before users do. Across roughly six years in software, that QA mindset has stayed at the centre of how he builds: acceptance criteria written down first, automated tests on the flows that matter, and releases that follow a checklist.

James started JGStudios PH in 2026 in BGC, Taguig, to give founders and businesses in the Philippines and the US a direct line to a senior engineer.
