Privacy Notice
Plain-language answers to what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
JGStudios PH ("we") is a software studio based in BGC, Taguig, Metro Manila. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and collect only what we need to respond to you and run this website.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, company, the service you're interested in, your budget range and your project message.
- RunKada waitlist: your email address.
- Website analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics records how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and clicks on buttons and links). It uses cookies to do this. See Cookies and your choice.
- Hosting logs: our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs such as IP address and request time for security and reliability.
Why we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and, if we work together, to run the project.
- To let you know when RunKada launches, if you joined the waitlist.
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists you didn't sign up for.
Cookies and your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing is set in advance: Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) are only stored if you choose Accept analytics.
- If you accept: Google Analytics sets its cookies, which last up to 2 years, so we can see which pages are useful and how visitors move through the site.
- If you decline or ignore the banner: no analytics cookies are stored. Google may still receive a basic signal that a page was viewed, without a cookie or identifier that follows you from visit to visit.
- Google signals (only if you accept): our Google Analytics account has Google's advertising reporting features, called Google signals, turned on. For visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have allowed ad personalization there, this lets Google Analytics add demographic and interest reports (such as age range and general interests) and recognise visits from the same person across devices. We only see these as combined totals, not as individual profiles. You can opt out by turning off ad personalization in Google's Ads Settings.
- Remembering your choice: we save your answer in your browser's local storage (as
jg_cookie_consent) so the banner doesn't keep asking. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us. - Changing your mind: click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you switch to Decline, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from this site. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings.
This site doesn't set advertising cookies, and we don't use analytics to identify you personally.
Who processes it for us
The contact form is delivered through Formspree, the RunKada waitlist is managed in Mailchimp, analytics run on Google Analytics, and the site is hosted on Netlify. These providers may store data outside the Philippines, including in the United States, under their own security and privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and waitlist details only as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them to us, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. You can also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
